Bear Creek Lodge Wedding | McCall, Idaho

Sarah and Remington's Bear Creek Lodge Wedding in McCall, Idaho was a fabulous multi-day celebration! Their relationship has truly been an adventurous journey, marked by their shared experiences in various cities and their cross-country moves. From Chicago to Sacramento, San Francisco to Twin Falls, and back to Chicago before settling in Boise, their journey together has been nothing short of a wild ride.

One significant aspect of their relationship is their connection to Idaho. Remington's roots in Twin Falls tie them to the state. Sarah's Chicago origins, on the other hand, highlight her openness to exploring new places and embracing change. The fact that they've lived in so many diverse locations speaks volumes about their adaptability, resilience, and willingness to explore together!

Sarah and Remington's friends and family traveled from all over the U.S. to attend their wedding. So why not make it last a little longer? This led them to plan a weekend-long event to ensure that everyone had ample time to fully enjoy the festivities. McCall, Idaho was a new destination for most of their guests, and they wanted to give them time to enjoy it!

Their wedding weekend began on a fun note with Friday's activities. Boats and paddle boards on Payette Lake provided a picturesque setting for some quality time with friends and family. The couple wanted to make the most of their time together, setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable weekend.

On Friday evening, they organized an elevated backyard picnic. It was a charming and intimate gathering that included the wedding party and close family members. It was made extra special with special touches like homemade herbed oils from Rem's mother and local breads, cheeses, and charcuterie.

Then, they kicked off Friday night with a welcome party at Bear Creek Lodge. This was an opportunity for all the guests to come together and enjoy a McCall local--Crusty's Pizza. They indulged in cocktails and enjoyed the evening together.

Saturday morning brought separate activities for the guys and ladies. The guys embarked on a guided fishing tour. Meanwhile, the ladies began their preparations, focusing on hair and makeup.

Sarah was equally as excited about her wedding day details as we were. It's always a dream getting to work with brides who care about design and details! Together, we had a vision of a colorful and eclectic, yet modern and romantic wedding. Their bold pink colors against the forest mountain backdrop made for a striking combination. And I think it's safe to say, we nailed it!

Not only was it beautiful, but it was a party to remember. From the live band - Jukebox Boise - to the 30-foot shot ski Sarah's dad surprised them with, to a late-night bonfire to cap the night off, it was an evening filled with fun. Their large wedding party and guests brought the energy. We even joined in the fun! We were up far past our bedtime hanging out because it was SUCH a fun group.

Sarah and Remington's wedding weekend embodies their journey, reflecting their shared love for adventure, family, friends, and the various places that have shaped their relationship. Their wedding day was as fun and wonderful as they are. It was truly one we will always remember fondly!
