Colorful Spring Deer Flat Ranch Wedding

When Jessy and Luke got engaged in December 2022, they knew they wanted to tie the knot in the spring, with the blooming colors of nature as their backdrop. With a short planning period ahead, the excitement was palpable, and I, as their wedding planner, couldn't wait to bring their colorful vision to life!

Colorful Floral Design

Jessy's vision for her big day was clear: she wanted a burst of colorful florals to contrast beautifully with the fresh spring greens. If you know me, you know that florals are one of my favorite design elements on a wedding day. So, it’s safe to say I was so excited to bring her vision to life! The choice of Deer Flat Ranch in Nampa, Idaho as their venue was a perfect match. The white reception space, surrounded by lush fields provided a stunning canvas for their wedding day.

First Look at The Grove Hotel

The day began at The Grove Hotel, where Jessy and Luke shared their first look. The atmosphere was filled with a mixture of anticipation and love, capturing a sweet moment between the couple. The choice of The Grove Hotel as their starting point set the tone for the rest of the day's festivities.

After their heartwarming first look, Jessy and Luke boarded a party bus with their close friends and family. The bus ride was filled with laughter and excitement, setting the stage for a day filled with joy and celebration.

One of the standout features of the wedding was the choice of sharp black suits for the groom and family members. Against the backdrop of colorful florals, these black suits made a bold statement. The guests also embraced the spring theme, with many opting to wear bright, cheerful spring colors that added to the overall vibrancy of the day.

A Touching Ceremony

The role of ring bearer was adorably fulfilled by Jessy and Luke's one-year-old nephew, who made his grand entrance in a red wagon. His innocent charm brought smiles to everyone's faces and added a sweet touch to the ceremony.

Luke's father officiated the wedding, adding a personal and emotional touch to the ceremony. The couple's choice to have a family member lead the ceremony made the day even more special.

After their floral-filled ceremony, we moved inside to enjoy the evening at their reception! Complete with a pink cake table, floral installations, and pink acrylic table numbers, their reception was full of fun details.

And as the day turned into night, Jessy had an outfit change, revealing a chic and stylish ensemble that allowed her to dance the night away in comfort and style. I love when brides opt for a fun outfit switch at the end of the night!
